March 18 update

Hello everyone,

         Today’s update is surprisingly simple as there have been no new developments that impact our present plans.  By now, all students should have received a few assignments and tasks from their teachers and we are ready to start marking these assessments as they come back in.  Please let us know as soon as possible if your child is not receiving any of this information and we will fix it immediately. As well, parents have been invited into the Google Classrooms so that you can see assignments handed out and what has been going back to the teacher. If you are not getting updates, please be in touch with the teachr. So far, roughly 75% of our student population has come in to clean out their lockers and we are allowed to keep the school open for two more days to accommodate this task.  We are also steadily scaling up our Google Classroom daily and should be at full pace by early next week.  

 We would like to finish by extending a huge thank you to staff, parents and students for helping to make this difficult transition relatively easy.  It takes a team to make this happen and everyone is working very well together in this unfortunate time. Keep up the great work everyone and we will make it through this together.
