Update for School Closure - Wednesday, March 25

Hello everyone,

By now, all of you should have received a phone call home to check up on the progress of your children and just generally touch base.  Based on these conversations, I am happy to report that there is a high level of satisfaction with regards to how PBHS is delivering education in this unprecedented time.  That said, we are still striving on improving upon this model. To that end, we have been doing some experiments with video conferencing/google hangouts in Grade 8, 9 and 12 classes.  Once we get through a few more sessions we will give a better update as to the effectiveness of this approach to be a part of our educational delivery model for some of our classes.

We also want to encourage you to communicate with us if your son/daughter is in need of help, academic or otherwise.  We have seen some good successes already with students reaching out to staff for some one on one virtual support. We, as PBHS staff, are here in school from 8:30 to 3:30 for you to access and we encourage you to take advantage of this.  If you feel in need of some support, please reach out and we will be happy to help you.
